Irrigation Our main irrigation program is run at North Booborowie and consists of two centre pivots. One being 40 hectares and the other 80 hectares. The irrigation is mainly used to background wether lambs coming into the feedlot with up to 4000 lambs been carried on the irrigation at one time. Lucerne seed has also been produced here as well as foliage crops for silage and hay. There are plans to expand the irrigation areas in the Booborowie area by another 200 hectares over the next 5 years.  |
